Just started Season 3 of Venture Bros today ; I freaking LOVE the first ep! [Long Post regarding E1S3]
Every day I usually watch at LEAST 1 episode of Venture Bros since I'm a fairly slow watcher, but I've been postponing watching Season 3 simply because I was a bit scared after learning Samson would be leaving the Venture Compound around this time of the series, but just now I began it and I was so THRILLED!
First of all, the animation quality's increase was so beautiful. I always loved the grainy old look of the old Venture Bros episodes (at least thats what the website I watch displays it as..) but seeing them in a more HD light is just..wow *mind blown*. It looks so lovely, and the coloring of the background is really clean!
I was glad we got to see a bit more of Dr. Mrs. the Monarch and The Mighty Monarch's history, even seeing some of the previous bosses The Mighty Monarch henched for, hehe! very amusing past! (The fact they were listening to Bjork too? God damn the Monarch has some good taste..hrm.), they both just have a lovely synergy that compliment each other! The Moppets were also really funny commanding the Henchmen!
I was also glad to see more of the Council and them in work, since I've always been a bit confused when I started. Also shoutout to Truckules, he's just a dude I found really funny and kind (at least..for now..i dunno what else he does!). We got to see more of Dr. Girlfriend shine in this EP with her intelligence and wit, and I'm glad!!
And the ending was sweet!! Happy that they're now Villain and Villainess, and the Cocoon is back thanks to the Moppets! AND they wrecked Phantom Limb's mansion, YAY!
Sorry if this was a bit messy and pointless, I'm just really happy with this episode and I wished to share it, and I'm still a really new fan of the Venture Bros.. Thanks for reading and I'm still SUPER SORRY if this is just a mess!
