Is a Masters in Respiratory worth it?

I’m a new grad with an Associates degree in RT and i’m going back for my bachelor’s in the fall. I’m wondering if a masters degree is worth it because i’d really like to advance as much as possible as i crave achieving a higher level of academic success. I have thought about going for Pathology assistant schooling but honestly and unfortunately i don’t think i have the requirements and it’s very competitive :( …I still would love to have a masters degree so if PA can’t work out for me i’d love to get a masters in RT if it’s worth it.

RT possibly wanting to go to PA school

I’m a new grad respiratory therapist and starting my bachelors program this fall. I’m very interested in Pathologist Assistant but a lot of the programs require a science background, and if you’re not a biology or science major the school recommends taking a few science/biology courses before applying.

I’m wondering if anyone in here has taken the path i may take. Has anyone here gotten into PA school with just a medical background? Does that make it significantly harder?

Any advice is highly appreciated, i’m so interested in the field and i hope i can do it one day!

So i really love Long term care, working with Pts who are ventilator dependent and have trachs. I plan on moving from PA to TX in a few years but im finding it hard to find places that have Vent care/ long term nursing homes. Any time i look up Vent care facilities or anything similar i get results of assisted living homes with no ventilators. From what i know texas does have a decent amount of vent facilities i just cant seem to search well enough for them. If anyone could give me advice on how to find these places that would be great! Or any specific words i need to use in my search to actually find them. I plan to move to houston area if possible. NICU and peds is my second choice if i can’t find any SNF to work at but i really hope i can find somewhere long term care!!

I’m soo so nervous to take the TMC, even though i got high cut on two practice exams and didn’t struggle too much in school. I’m curious are the practice tests easier than the real deal? I have confidence in myself but i know a lot of people fail too so it makes me wonder if the real TMC is harder than the kettering practice tests. Also if you have any test taking tips or studying tips at all id greatly appreciate!!

So far i’ve been writing stuff down for muscle memory and also reading the kettering book over again. Focusing in on things i struggle with.
