What is the price of leaving everything behind and living in india ?
a girl left her family and everything behind in North Africa and came to Mumbai to start fresh but the price she’s paying is very high.. she now doesn’t have stable work or income and she said she will never turn back she said to me that she’d rather die than go back to the same life she was living.
alright now let’s start from the early twenties of her age. She was divorced already and kicked out from her father´s house and she managed somehow to live independentl. she survived all these years on her own traveling and not having anywhere safe to call home. she tried making things work with her family but her family is still threatening her and dismissing her and her dreams. they never believed in her so now she ended up in india after all these years. she is still struggling to find a home, whenever she’s sick she gets too depressed and sad nobody is there for her. the same story happens again and again. she finally managed to get some work but she’s still uncertain about her future and she’s tired. she told me that now it’s the time that everything has to change or she will lose herself forever. I don’t know what to tell her or how to help her out. she refuses to go back to her home country and she said she’d rather be homeless and lost and dead than doing that.
