Long story short I have a 3 bedroom, 1 bath that I’ve been working on for months and is just about ready to move in. I originally planned to move in and have 2 roommates but they backed out. Now I’m debating if I should move in, air bnb or rental. Inside I’ve done all new cabinets, under cabinet lighting, light fixtures, floors, painting, vanity, and new quartz countertops. In addition the house already has microwave, stove, fridge, dish washer, washer and dryer and I have a very nice dining table as well. Looking to get feedback on how much furnishing the rest of the house would be. The house across the street is an Airbnb that does well while looking kind of like a dump on the outside. I’m around 15k in so far with renovations so I’m trying to ballpark how much more I’d have to go in furnishing vs renting it out.
