I was hyped for SNW for the past few months. Talking about it nonstop, literally dreaming about it a few times. I knew it was only one day, and I know how fast the day goes.
But SNW was one of the best days of my life. I danced, headbanged, and moshed from 12:30-12:30, stopping only during Danny Elfmans set to catch a breath. Knocked Loose and System were definitely the best sets of the night. I saw many artists I never listened to and really enjoyed their set; Norma Jean, Acid Bath, Speed, Terror, Danny Elfman, and Evanescence to name a few.
This definitely feels like the last time we get to do this, so maybe I'll see you at Louder Than Life or Warped next time. It definitely feels like SNW/WWWY is tapped out, but I enjoyed every experience I had (I went to all of them 😁)
Tips for people struggling with pick pockets: I wore basketball shorts under sweats, and I was secure the entire time.
Tips for people who had a throbbing headache before 7pm: earplugs. This is the first festival I wore them the entire day and I had 100% energy for system of a down. Game changer.
