Hello everyone,
I'm 67 years old and have been working out at the gym three times a week for about two years.
I'm not an expert and I don't have any specific skills, but I wanted to share what has really changed; maybe it can be useful to someone in my situation.
The main things I've noticed:
I have more energy throughout the day;
I feel more stable in my movements;
I'm also feeling better mentally;
My metabolism has changed;
My diet is balanced, not sacrificed, but I often avoid fats and sugars.
The difficulties:
At first, I wasn't convinced for the usual reason: I don't have time. Then, convinced by my son (who specializes in physical education and nutrition), I started. My life has changed, although I must say I do make some breaks (at the weekends), so that everything is balanced and not always a sacrifice. I'm convinced that this will become a lifestyle and not a temporary initiative.
I'm also trying to improve my diet, following my son's advice (he has a degree in physical education).
I'd love to know if anyone here started "late" like me.
How are you getting on?
