Best seat for back pain?
My husband and I kayak casually. We have some boats we got during Covid and we like to paddle on lakes for about an hour or so.
My husband experiences really bad back pain afterwards for days and aside from just getting used to it again after the winter off, I think a better seat is in order.
Any recommendations?

Editing again, I wrote this very quickly with very few (important) details.
He had a stroke years ago. So his mobility is compromised (weakness on one side). Though he can walk fine, the brain can’t respond as fast to imbalance. So he braces/compensates.
He also prefers his sit-in, for stability. I believe my sit-on would be better but I don’t live in his body so I respect his wishes.
I am so appreciative of the advice so far!!
I see a lot of suggestions to upgrade and if we get more into it, I’m going to come back to these suggestions. Right now for the 3-4 times we use them a year I think we could get by with the cheapos.
