Hello,

I'm currently an F1 student in the US and I mailed my application for an academic exchange visa to Japan to one of the consulates. It's been over a week since they received my application (I know this via usps tracking) but I haven't heard anything back and the person at usps didn't give the return envelope tracking. I'm really worried for my passport 😭, has anyone here applied through mail to a Japanese consulate, if so, how long did it take?
