Was just reading about places in Fort Worth that are gone and people still miss … This may be too old, but did anyone attend birthday parties in late 70s, early 80s at the Silver Wheel skating rink? On White Settlement? (I think) I wish I’d saved my invitations!
EDIT: Thanks guys for letting me know it’s still open🩷 That is amazing…. I no longer live in Fort Worth but will definitely pay them visit when we come down for the Fourth to visit my folks. From kindergarten to fifth grade, between three sisters at Tanglewood Elementary, we almost always had a Silver Wheel birthday invitation tacked onto the cork board hanging over the kitchen telephone
