Facebook and meta have gotten insane with targeted ads lately, want to backup and store everything, how to do it ?
I know people always joke about phones listening to conversations, but Facebook has seriously started creeping me out lately. I’ll talk to someone on Messenger about the most random thing imaginable, then suddenly my feed is flooded with ads connected to it within a day. The weird part is it’s not even broad topics anymore. It’ll be something super specific that I’ve never searched for. A friend mentioned pickleball in a Messenger chat even though I’ve never looked it up in my life, and later that night I started getting pickleball equipment ads on Instagram and Facebook nonstop. My mom asked me about air purifiers through Messenger and suddenly every third ad was for allergy products and home air systems.
Thinking of deleting it completely but wanted to back up my photos and videos and delete everything that has to do with facebook and meta. So how to do that?
