Window restoration advice

I started the tedious journey of stripping old paint off of these windows, since the paint was starting to chip and flake. I am using a cobra speed heater and this is as far as I got after 3 hours of heating and scraping! I was thinking about going over it with soy gel next but maybe I can skip to using a sander or steel wool? And eventually finishing with tung oil. Any advice is appreciated! I am using a respirator mask because I‘m sure the paint has lead in it.

Plaster Repair Advice

Recently bought a home built in the early 1900s, and there are a few areas like this right above the flooring that need plaster repair. I was planning to use structolite for the base coat, with something like durabond on top? it is my first time doing plaster repair, so any advice or step-by-step instruction would be appreciated!
