Tips for upcoming shoot that turned into a solo shoot last minute

I have an upcoming personal project I'm shooting for which I will have only 1 day maybe 1.5 days if I'm lucky. I originally had arranged for a friend to come help me for part of the day but they bailed on me so i'll be completely solo. The gear I currently have is a medium tripod and a small gorillapod, my iphone 17 pro, a VND filter, and A diffuser, and a spare phone that I'll use for framing shots in the blackmagic camera app. I'll be shooting on a beach and while i'll have a bit of chance to shoot some early morning shots I don't anticipate I'll be able to get everything done in the morning so I'll be forced to shoot in harsh sunlight for part of my shoot. I've been scouring the internet for tips on how to handle this challenge most of them go over the same tips however given that my location (the beach) isn't likely to have much open shade and I'm solo working with a diffuser will be challenging. If anyone has additional tips for my unique situation I'd really appreciate it.
