Hello! I am searching for a golden retriever puppy for my 12-year-old son, who is struggling with severe anxiety after the death of our dog of 18 years early this year. We know the amazing positive impact golden retrievers can have on people with anxiety. After allowing for time to grieve and for him to process his passing, we're ready to welcome a new puppy into our home. Having said all that, the search can be overwhelming, trying to figure out who the reputable breeders are. Also, not a lot of breeders have puppies available now or in the near future.

I would appreciate any recommendations for breeders to contact in Houston and/or other parts of TX, LA, or OK. Thank you so much in advance!
