[CA] What to do about old Instagram page?

I had a (private) Instagram page from god knows when until 3 years ago, I’m now 22. I logged out one day and could not log back in because I’d deleted the 2FA app it was associated with.

At the time, I had virtually no privacy and was dating a man that I disliked because I felt like I couldn’t leave. I was really upset basically all of the time and I’m sure my comments from that account reflected that—I don’t think I’ve ever posted hate comments but I am very outspoken in my opinions and have a habit of engaging in online arguments because I’m easily ragebaited. I heard that HR typically stalks your social media? I am obviously in the process of deleting what I can from the one I have right now, but the old one is totally inaccessible.

My first and last name is on the account, with a picture of me. I’ve used the same nickname for 6 years now, it’s on credit cards, bank accounts, etc. Would it even be safe to tell my work that my name is the legal version, rather than the half-legal shortened version, and hope they don’t find the account and sift through my comments?

Advice is welcome. Not applying for those types of jobs right now but will be in the future and would like input.
