Signature Guarantees / Medallion

For those of you that are RIA only, how do you handle signature guarantee requirements? RIAs aren't eligible to apply for a medallion (banks, broker-dealers and trust companies only). We have a few 529 plans we want to move from American Funds that a client has over to Schwab's 529 where we custody the rest of the assets. American Funds requires a signature guarantee. Schwab Advisor Services said they can't provide one. Most banks are saying they will only provide one if assets are transferring to them or their trust company. Has anyone had any luck with a Schwab retail branch helping out? Feeling stuck on this one.

Schwab Digital Workflow Question

For those of you using Schwab Digital Workflows is anyone sending their advisory agreements through that system as well? This is apparently a new feature as of 8 months ago and we've been trying to make it work.

The problem seems to be that the clients are able to skip past the advisory agreement without signing it if they try or don't pay attention. That's obviously a no-go.

We like the digital workflow for lots of reasons related to account opening and easy of use for the client, but it seems like we may just have to keep using Docusign if we can't prevent the client from submitting without signing our agreement.

Very curious if anyone has a solution or really any experience with this. The APS team at Schwab has tried to help but not many of them are familiar with the client side of the digital workflow, so support has been challenging.
