(Un)Controversial take-We need to ban foreign(1mg's) who did m8d school elsewhere to do training/residency in Australia

Canada never allows foreign grads to do residency, only Canadian PRs and citizens allowed to apply for residency.
UK just enacted the law to deprioritize foreigners 1mg's for residency/training positions.
With this trend going, foreign grads will be undoubtedly pivoting to Australia and taking up training spots that is supposed to be for local grads(Australians or Australian m8d school grads from other countries).
In comparison, Australia is doing nothing to protect their grads. There is even a pathway for foreign grads to apply for training/registrar positions. This is ridiculously unfair. How does this make sense?
