Calorie deficit or nah?

this is my physique now btw, ive been in a deficit since january but only started working out 3 weeks ago, should i continue my deficit? my maintenance was 1900 but i moved to 2300 but i still dont know if thats what im supposed to do lol, im trying to gain muscles.
