Math major here. Between Juan Villeta Garcia and Yifeng Huang for Linear Algebra, which is the better choice?

Is it possible for a freshman to register for a 300-level class? It doesn't state any prerequisites. Why is this class suspiciously empty, 34 / 35 available seats? The instructor is C Gavegnano.

Incoming freshman Data Science Major. Have a few questions about the choice of classes.

1. Should I prioritize picking Data Science 110 or Data Science 185, which apparently is offered irregularly for first pick? There are only a few spots left for DataSci 110, which is strange considering it is a foundational course. Do they open up more classes for incoming freshmen?

2. I am Interested in healthtech. Conflicted between the economics and psychology tracks for the DataSci major. I am equally interested in both, but more worried about not getting into my desired classes because they might fill up. Are Econ classes more difficult to get into than psych?
