Pre Med Major

Hi so I am starting college this fall and only recently decided I wanted to do pre med and that paired with being a first generation student has me a little lost about pretty much everything. My major right now is biological sciences but my college offers a forensic anthropology major that I think might be really interesting and I think I could do very well in. My question is how would I learn everything I need to know for the mcat since it's not a major like bio or biochemistry? also would I even be able to take it and still apply to med school? Any advice welcome I need as much as I can get tbh.
