Hello, I am 18yr in NYC looking for a crawlspace into the trades. Ive been looking for a way into the trades whether its Electrical, Plumbing, IUEC or HVAC. All union recruitments for those in NYC are closed. and Non unions want experience for helper/apprenticeships through trade school or the union itself.

Im not looking for sympathy im just wondering if you guys were in my shoes what would you guys do?

Hello, is there anybody in Local 3 (NYC) who isnt in the standard EE division?

If so, what is it like? Do you take cover for other trades sometimes? I have a lot of questions so, 18yr looking to become apprentice

(P.S) I didnt mean EE sorry I meant A division
