There are tons of great beef wellington recipes out there, and it can be hard to figure out which one is really the best! After extensive experimentation, I have found the real secret to a sumptuous, tasty, easy beef wellington. It's mayonnaise! As you are wrapping up the beef in your onion and mushroom mixture, add 1/2 cup of mayo to the mushrooms. Then slather it on as you normally would. When the beef wellington is finished baking, you can top it with an additional tablespoon of mayonnaise for added richness, or serve it with a ramekin of mayo for dipping. Your party guests will be raving about it for weeks!
