Tom Welling says Clark fell in love with Lois because of her honesty, that she is who she is, and that Clark enjoyed seeing Lois be Lois. Erica adds that Lois could make Clark laugh and that he probably admired that she would join in the same fights as him but without his powers, just brass.

Michael adds about how he's been liking Clois, and that Erica's Lois elevated the show, as well as a story that Jerry Bruckheimer asked him about Erica in Smallville and said she was terrific.

Some people (we know which shipper fans) try to claim Clark and Lois didn't have romantic sparks from the start, but its quite clear that they did. Lana thought they were a couple, and Chloe gets jealous when she sees them flirting and having fun here.

I love the chemistry and romantic sparks between Clark and Lois always had.

"I don't give up. Tell me where I can find Lois Lane."

Even if it could kill him, or if he had to trade his life for hers, Clark will save Lois.

I love in that in this scene Clark and Lois both show their hidden feelings for a moment when Clark hold her hand, then they get awkward about it, and try to cover the feelings back up.

I love how Clark and Lois have both humor, cuteness, romance, and depth of understanding each other. And somehow they can make it all come out it one scene. They are the best!

Not to mention I love how Lois is a hero too with Clark's powers, and she also takes the time to understand how it is both a burden and an honor for Clark to have them. She always supports him!

Was Clark sad, depressed, self-isolated, missing Lana or trying to make things work with her after Lana had left? No... Clark was doing very good and moved on quite easily.

When Clark switches places with Clark Luthor and everyone is ready to kill him, thinking Clark Luthor is trying to trick them, Lois can see the real Clark.
