I finally told a school "no"

Took a drama job at a local middle school for a teacher I knew had a student teacher. I show up and the secretary tried to move me to a remedial ELD class. I looked her in the eyes and said "I apologize, if the position I agreed too is no longer available, I will be more than happy to go home for the day" anyway guess whose watching the student teacher lead the drama class now

This is my second time I've been at this school and second time they've had me cover during prep. Before all the trolls come out of the woodwork, yes, I understand I'm not entitled to a prep period, but I am entitled to choose where I work. Why would I work at a district that will consistently have me cover when I can work fewer classes and get paid more at nearby districts. This one won't even let me have the wifi password. Just a rant to clear my head while I'm stuck here for the next 3.5 hours.

Edit: said fuck it, called the office and told them I'm not feeling well (the truth) and that I'd appreciate it if they could find other coverage.
