Apparently, this movie adaptation had been in and out of production for almost 15 years, until the rise of the MCU, where it was effectively shelved. The only publicly available material for what the film could have become are a pitch trailer sent to investors and a script dated February 2006. The film could either have been made by Dreamworks or Lionsgate Entertainment who made the Iron Fist movies
