Spoiled milk oolong - gongfu session.

This is a random bag of milk oolong ahead in my stash. I've had the bag since 2024 -I bought a half kilogram portion and this is the last of that bag. It was fresh when I bought it. (Should I stop buying large portions of tea? No.)

This tea is on its last leg and it's tired and ready to be composted. The tea still drinks and brews the same way but I had to use more because the tea is really old.

No, milk oolong doesn't spoil but it does get old.

Mild pumpkin chili

I added steamed pumpkin pieces to canned mild chili beans and added stir-fried onions and peppers. I used Bush's Best chili beans in a can because they are tasty. I cooked all of this in a stove top wok (it has a flat bottom) because its the only pot I have to cook in at the moment.

No recipe but happy to inspire. Also its pumpkin season. 💯

Fortune + harmony gongfu tea session. 🌿

Added a western mug to balance the tieguanyin i chose for the session. I have cups that match my gaiwan but I loved the greedy portion of tea these white cups I found in my collection have.

The tea is a tieguanyin oolong. I found it in a super pack at an oriental supermarket in my city. It is light floral and according to a Chinese teacher I know is "good tea." I am finishing the box here this is the last of 3 packs.

Fortune and harmony are the words I'd use to describe my session. It was pleasant and continues on as I am writing this post during the session.
