Beginner tips for getting the most out of a Seestar S30?

Hii so I’m a teenager who’s really into astronomy, and I’ve spent close to a year volunteering at an observatory, so I’ve had some experience with telescopes and finding DSOs, planets, and learning my way around the night sky.

Recently, I managed to get a slightly used Seestar S30 from a friend who was moving away, and I’m really quite excited to start using it properly. I had a few questions and was hoping more experienced users could help me make the most out of it:

  1. I know the Seestar is really beginner-friendly, but if I wanted to try imaging dimmer DSOs, are there any limitations or important things I should know/take note of?

  2. Are there any software/editing workflows you would recommend? I’ve heard processing the raw frames can make a huge difference compared to the default stacked images the Seestar app provides.

  3. Does exposure time per frame matter a lot for different DSOs? And if so, is that something adjustable on the Seestar itself?

Also, if you have any beginner tips, or things you wish you knew earlier, do give any advice you may have haha thanks!!
