To start off, joined as fresher in prod support role in Datastage ETL tool and worked for 2+ years and then moved to Informatica and is working with it since then. Lately, I’ve been feeling dissatisfied with my work. So, I learned AWS,pyspark, snowflake to some extent and planned to learn airflow. But I am not consistent and on top of this, I am really confused whether these skills are relevant or not seeing new tools like dbt coming up.

What I seek from this post:

Is transition from prod support to DE really possible in current market?

Is these skills are still relevant? If not, what would you suggest ?

Also request to provide proper learning structure and the concepts where most interviewers would test.
