I published a psychological fiction book, but I think I’m only now starting to understand its universe

Hi everyone,
I published a fantasy fiction book called Loren Ipsun in 2023.
But the weird part is thi: it doesn't fell like a finished story.
It fell like a universe that kept growing after publication.
I keep getting new ideas, new fragments, new "missing pieces" of the word...even thought the book is already out..
So I have to ask:
Does anyone else experience this?
Or does this means the story was never really "done" in the first place?
