Was this paranormal or something else?

So for reference, I think (if I’m not delusional) I have had a few paranormal/ghosts encounters. Like at my old house growing up I’d see a little girl all the time, then when my sister had her son… he’d apparently see her too. When we moved out of the house we found out a little girl had actually passed away there. This isn’t about that however, this is just an example of my experiences.

We now live in this home we’ve been here since 2017, since the start of us living here I’ve always felt off about this home. There’s been a few instances where I’d think I saw a person in the corner of my eye just standing in front of bedroom doors. Some other instances where I hear loud thuds and when I go check there’s things just on the floor, that weren’t on the floor before.

However the past few weeks I’ve been starting to get this sense of fear. Im home alone most of the time, as my family and I all work pretty much opposite schedules. One day I heard ruckus coming from the kitchen I went to check and a cabinet was wide open with a cup just knocked over, still inside the cabinet. Then on a different day, my boyfriend and I were relaxing watching a show in my bedroom when all of a sudden one of my bags from my bag rack flys almost across the entire room with the hook on it. The bag wasn’t heavy or big at all for it to have just fallen, I tested the hooks and you genuinely have to yank at them quite a bit for them to pop out. My explanation for it at first was maybe the hooks were cheap but upon checking I feel it just doesn’t make sense.

However, last night this happened. The door to the “attic” (it’s not really an attic there’s just pipes and things up there and you can barely crawl in there) was fully pushed up and to the side. We did have a pretty bad windstorm last night but in the 9 years of us living here we’ve had far worse wind storms and this never occurred. I was home alone for hours, my dog at some point was barking pretty aggressively straight at my bedroom door (that little attic door is directly outside of my room). My brother did not do it, he wasn’t even home. My mom said she’d find a scientific explanation behind it (she said it jokingly cus she’s scared lol) and her explanation ended up being it was a pocket of air (??????). I don’t know but when I fixed it, the door/cover (I don’t know what to call it) was quite heavy and you have to push it up about 8 inches to be able to rest it on the inside, I feel that it still would’ve been impossible if the wind SOMEHOW got in because of these factors.

Can anyone explain how this may have happened to ease my nerves? lol
