New to this, need help optimising points for Egypt trip in December (DCB, Maharaja, Regalia, Axis Rewards)
Never done award bookings before, stumbled onto this sub and realised we have some decent points across our accounts, would like to use them on flights and hotels. Not looking to splurge on luxury, just want to use points as best as possible.
Points:
HDFC DCB: 40k
AI Maharaja: 40k
HDFC Regalia: 21k
Axis rewards edge points: 50k
Details of trip are as follows:
2 adults and 1 child
Flights:
CCU-BOM round trip: Booking this through Air India makes sense?
BOM-CAI: EgyptAir (approx 65k per person on travel websites), book this on smartbuy with DCB?
Hotels in Cairo, Luxor, Hurghada: Typically 6k per night in Cairo Luxor & 15k per night in Hurghada (Use Regalia & Axis EP for this? I now conversion rates are poor esp. with EP but I have the points & would like to use it)
