Suddenly got normal blood results after 3 years and don't know what it means?

Hi everyone, apologies in advance for the lengthy post but genuinely just a bit baffled. 3 years ago I went to my Dr complaining of an inability to lose weight, extreme fatigue all the time etc. She ran a PCOS blood test, it came back at 5% which I believe is the cut off for it. Thought it was interesting as I hadn't previously really had any PCOS symptoms but I'd been on the implant for a long time which I figured could skew any symptoms of it possibly. I had an ultrasound and they said that my ovaries were clear, but that the criteria (at least in the UK) is to be diagnosed off a blood tests and not the US. They basically told me to go away and come back if I struggled conceiving. My sister was prescribed metformin and said it's helped greatly with insulin resistance and so I booked an appt to ask to be prescribed it. She said I needed an up to date blood tests as it's been 3 years since, and it has come back today within normal range. So now I'm absolutely baffled at what that means? Want to make it clear that I am incredibly grateful for a normal blood result, however when something has explained a lot for me for 3 years and now it seems like it's not a thing for me, I'm just very confused. I have all the symptoms of it, have a mum and two sisters that have PCOS. Thinning hair on my head, excess hair in other places, struggle to lose weight, hold all of my weight in my gut, the list goes on. I will say that I have other diagnoses of ADHD, hypermobility and possibly thyroid issues which comes in and out of normal range so they may go a way to explain it. Long story long, just wondered if anyone else had had a similar experience and was given any other information over what it means for the diagnosis etc? Thanks so much xxx
