I am an Interim CEO asked with providing a smooth transition for an incoming new, permanent CEO (in a few months). The idea of a. Briefing Book has come up. Essentially, a collection of one-pagers about goals, departments, initiatives, systems, programs, staff, etc. (we are a member-based industry association)
Have any of you benefited from such a briefing book in the first few days/weeks? Which features/infos were useful? Or is this a waste of time?
I welcome your ideas and comments before we start this exercise.
