Hi y'all, have this palm here that is slowly deteriorating, but also growing some new leaves which seem to be coming out clean. The old growth is slowly turning brown/black. Could anyone help me out identifying what's wrong with it?

Plant sits a few feet away from a southwest window in a chunky mix, might have watered it too much lately, i don't really know

Hi y'all, I have this Hoya Kerrii that's been on the struggle bus for the last two years now. She's been moved, bent a bit and might've had some pests before. However, the stem has this discolouration on it, is that just dried up wax residue from being moved/bent or is it something else I should keep my eye on?
