Sold my FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets on the official Resale Marketplace — no banking info section in my account. How do I make sure I actually get paid?
Hey everyone, hoping someone here has been through this already and can help me out.
I successfully sold my tickets to the Colombia vs Uzbekistan match through FIFA's official Resale Marketplace. I'm a US-based seller so I know the payout is supposed to come via bank transfer within 60 days of the buyer's purchase date.
The problem is I went into my FIFA ticketing account under Account Settings > Profile and there is absolutely no section to enter my banking details anywhere. It only shows personal info, my address, and my phone number. That's it.
I don't want to sit around for 60 days and then find out the payment failed because FIFA never had my bank info on file.
A few questions for anyone who has been through this:
- Where exactly did you enter your bank account details for the resale payout? Is it triggered somewhere in the Resell/Transfer Tickets section or does FIFA email you separately asking for it?
- Did FIFA send you an email after your ticket sold with instructions on how to submit your banking info? If so, what email address did it come from so I know what to look for and don't accidentally trash it as spam?
- Is there a direct email or phone number to reach FIFA ticketing support that actually gets a response? The help center form feels like it goes into a black hole.
- For those who already received their payout — how long did it actually take you and did it come through without any issues?
Any help is appreciated. I just want to make sure I don't fall into the same trap I've been reading about where sellers waited 90+ days and had to get media involved just to get their money. Thanks in advance 🙏
