Hi - I know there’s been a lot of posts about smart thermostat but we are having a hard time trying to make it work. At one point it was working for AC only because we had connected the C-wire power adapter. However, we then realized that there was a wire connected to C in the furnace board. So we disconnected the power adapter. So then the air turned on but not the thermostat. We tried YouTube videos and all sorts of things. Please help! Thank you!!!

PS it’s an Amazon thermostat.
