Tired of North America eSIMs that drop the ball at every border. Any reliable recommendations for a US-CA-MX loop?

I’m currently mapping out a trip through the US, Canada, and Mexico, and honestly, the eSIM part has been a headache.

My route is simple (US - Canada - Mexico), and I’d prefer one regional plan to keep things seamless. But looking at the prices, some of the big-name regional plans feel like they have a massive convenience tax added on. For example, a 10GB / 30-day plan is around $46 with Airalo and about $26 with Nomad, which feels quite high for what you’re getting.

I’ve been looking at alternatives and found RedteaGO. Their North America plan is way cheaper than the mainstream options, around $20.5, which honestly makes me a bit skeptical. My logic is that since these are all roaming setups, they’re all just piggybacking on local towers anyway. From what I saw, Redteago uses Verizon and T-Mobile in the US, Rogers Wireless and Videotron in Canada, and Movistar and Telcel in Mexico.

So my question is really about how these carriers perform in practice. And for anyone who’s used RedteaGO across multiple countries, how’s the performance overall?
