After the combine, do we have any idea who the Nets even like??

I feel like I’m seeing articles on the Clippers salivating for Wagler, Kings desperate for Acuff.

As usual, no leaks for the Nets. Which is good. But no idea who they even like or met with!!!

Any intel or thoughts on who they may be favoring?

Nets meeting players at the combine (keeping track)

Thus far the Nets have met with Acuff Jr., Mikel Brown Jr, and Brayden Burries all today.

Tomorrow, they're lining up to chat with Keaton Wagler, Aday Mara, and Zuby Ejiofor.

No idea who Zuby is - but rest are all in the 5-10 range.

Acuff or Wagler?

Feels like the Nets are going to get to pick between these two at 6. Been running the game theory and it seems like all possibilities always end up back at one of these two. Either:

  1. Clippers draft Wagler, Acuff goes to us

  2. Wilson falls to Clippers, they grab; because Acuff rose and then Wagler goes to us

  3. Kings trade up to grab Acuff who they covet, Wagler falls to us

I think Flemings measurements aren’t great though his other combine results are good; MBJ seems great on paper but a major, major risk to take health wise at 6.

Acuff seems to have best offense in draft, leadership and passing. Wagler has size, shooting and leadership too.

What do you guys think?

My thoughts on offseason and draft pick

Yesterday was a long day, with a lot of negativity, but I figured after sleeping on it to think about our steps ahead. I work on this Nets Offseason Guide and have been thinking through both the draft and free agency a bit.

Going into the offseason, I think the Nets have two major objectives (beyond finding the next super star): find an improved point guard and improving a forward both for the starting lineup.

That doesn’t change with yesterday’s draw. Instead of pursuing the guard in free agency/trades and forward on draft night, we should now pursue the reverse.

I think we will end up getting the pick between Wagler, Acuff, and Flemings - with Brown Jr as a dark hours. Clippers may take 1 but not for sure, likely Wagler or Flemings. We should evaluate who is best for us and take them.

Then I would consider if there’s opportunities to move up from 33 and package it with 43. Nothing crazy but rather have two rookies than three — and could save a luxury tax team money.

Next during offseason, focus on a forward/center: Payton Watson, Tari Eason, Isiah Hartenstein. Take advantage of teams like Denver / OKC / Orlando and more near the second apron.

Don’t go for Giannis and Mitchell at this point — don’t think they fit the timeline. But our 10 man line up is already getting solid, and believe it or not with 3-4 upgrades I think it’s gets spicey.

I loved Boozer and AJ and am of course disappointed, but this will likely be our best prospect since KMart. Time to seriously evaluate some talent. Combine starts in two days!

Hi all! I’m having a tough time to figure out where in the Northern Crater to put the save crystal in the Switch version to avoid glitches and also have it be far down enough in the dungeon.

I looked at other recommendations but it isn’t clear. I guess I’d want to be close to the center.

Any recommendations? It’s my first time playing!
