Hello! I am looking for advice on understanding some of the stats I’ve been getting from my bloodwork. I’ve been having issues with anemia the past couple years and I’ve had major issues with tiredness and brain fog. More recently my chest has started hurting as well and I’m worried it might be heart flutters. My doctor has only prescribed me birth control and hasn’t really seen an issue otherwise, so I wanted to see what other people’s experience was with their anemia and if they were feeling any similar symptoms or if it might be some other issue.
Last year I had total iron of 9 ug/dL and saturation percent of 2% with hemoglobin of 8.5. More recently I had ferritin 10ng/mL, iron 19, saturation 5%, and hemoglobin 11.4.
Could this be the reason why I’m feeling this way?
