Training Contract after all 8 FE1s passed - how hard is it?
This might sound like an odd question, whilst I was doing my FE1s I had numerous rejections for Training Contracts but now that I have them all done is it better odds to get one?
Everyone I have read on this thread or in general I know of has secured one way in advance even before they had finished their first sitting or straight out of college. I understand the big firms intakes are usually full way in advance and full of recent graduates and since I missed that boat does it mean that my chances are now lower, and the only real options are smaller firms, nothing wrong with them as I currently work in one, just wondering has anyone else had a similar experience or can speak to this. Also I know CSSO has a recruitment competition out now but I also got rejected last year for it and heard that they prefer those who already are working in the civil service.
Is there anyone who got one or knows of anyone who got one straight after completing 8 exams? I know its about the applications and people stress the importance of extra curriculars etc, I know that if you get rejected its for a reason but I'm starting to lose hope ngl, have them all done now and what if I don't get a training Contract at all ..... :/
