I had a sigmoid colectomy in July and was healthy etc for 7 months then, in march, I got diverticulitis in my right colon. That healed after the 4 weeks no fruit/vegetables. Today I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in my transverse colon. I eat a healthy diet but the occasional French fry and exercise a lot. Anyone else have this happen to them and what are your coping mechanisms and any diet recommendations.
