I struggled with what to do with the background on this one. Plain white was just too plain. I tried some embossed backgrounds but didn’t really like how they looked. I ended up using my gelli plate to pull a print with stripes of white paint to give a little white texture to the white background cardstock.

Normally I gravitate towards brighter colors but the person I made this for seems to prefer more muted, neutral color schemes. I went on a journey with this one in that what my original vision was versus what I ended up with are extremely different.

Pinterest inspired card I made to be given as a random act of kindness.

Not my normal style of card but I think it turned out pretty cute.
