New diagnosis

Hi. I'm new to this, at least as far as diagnosis. I actually have ulcerative proctitis, dx about a month ago. I am trying to sort stuff out because this is an add on diagnosis from a primary diagnosis of long covid. Long covid is since 2022.

One of the hardest parts, and it doesn't always matter, is what is causing what symptoms: one of the diseases? The new drug? The only reason this was even diagnosed is because of bleeding, and then a colonoscopy was done.

Since the diagnosis, in hindsight I am now aware that some symptoms or intensification of symptoms was actually the UP. The one most annoying (and debilitating) is the nausea. And again, hindsight, I think it is mostly a proctitis symptom.

The main question I have now is: Does anything help? For now, I lay in bed and tell myself I'm not actually dying. Does an antinausea like Zofran help anyone? Is there any rhyme or reason as to what causes a flair? Does anything help with the nausea? Cannabis maybe? Thanks!
