High ACTH/Normal Cortisol with MEN1

Hello!

I have a few questions but understand you may not be able to answer. I was recently diagnosed with MEN1 and have had to get blood work for screening reasons. All of my hormones came back normal, including cortisol, except for my ACTH. It was at 71.5 (lab went up to 63 for the normal range) and my cortisol was at 15 in the morning (normal range). I conducted both the suppression test (.8 and normal suppression) and urinary test (26, normal range under 45). I have been a bit overweight and have slightly elevated blood sugar, but this has been the case for years. I get headaches, but again, I’ve had this for years. I do not have purple stretch marks or easily bruise.

Context for other health issues: Previous endometriosis, PCOS, Crohn’s disease, and severe anxiety. I’ve had severe anxiety all of my life and it affects my medical worries, particularly before blood tests.

Does my MEN1 diagnosis have to point the elevated ACTH with normal cortisol to a tumor? I have a scan on Saturday and can update. I’m moving and am nervous about having the surgery if I have a tumor.

Let me know what you think.
