Chapter 1 -The Grief of Death
Just a normal night. In a midst of a dream walking through the forest demons all around me staring but not attacking I didn't know where I was but then I saw the front of my house demons and people I didn't know trying to get in and then I woke up.
I was in the wooden house I built near my house. The thing was I had no memory of how I got here but I remembered that last night it was pouring outside and I went to bed early, not here but in my house. So how did I get here? I surely didn't sleep walk through the tsunami so I summoned my puppet stell to get an answer.
Stell!!! "I yelled"
Yes master, is there anything you need?
Yes the answer to how I got here. Besides me and my parents no one knows this plays oh ya including you...! " I explained"
She looked sad as if something bad had happened and quietly said follow me master.
Stell led me to my house..... well what used to be a house... that was now ruins
Whhha Whattt???? What happened here??? Did a meteor fall out of the sky or whattt?????

Around three am just as the rain stopped about one hundred and fifty people surrounded the house. Most were normal people but some were mages. I'm sure you don't know about this but the house had a protective layer around it. To destroy the layer they used spells which destroyed half of the house. Of course that immediately woke up your parents. Me and them fought for hours and killed most of the attackers however some got away. The mages were no ordinary mages.. and.. your parents were left with injuries that were fatal. They had no Mana left and they knew death was inevitable so they told me to let them die.
Just as I heard that I dropped to the ground tears streamed down my face like waterfalls i couldn't stop crying. I felt as if my heart would pop out any second. I yelled at the top of my lungs - whyyyy! Why me?? Why did they die?? They came for me right I know that's why they came. Why did I survive? Out of all people I should have died..!
As how you survived well you were having a nightmare and called my name and told me to protect you if something happened and I did. I made sure you'd live.
I couldn't stop crying I just couldn't take it. And then I remembered the apple tree of wishes.
stell I don't know if it was just a story or not but remember the story? Take me there NOW. "I angrily yelled at stell"
Yes master the tree is real it's a bit far from here. We'll be able to get there in two hours if we run.
I got annoyed. Eh.. you have teleportation can't you just teleport me there? " i asked"
Master, to find the apple tree first you must enter a very dangerous forest monsters faster than ever will chase you. It's best to be fast. So I'd say the way there will be training.
"I sighed" fine you win just show me the way.
We weren't even that far away from the house but in the forest around the house. As stell showed me the place where she'd buried my parents. I dropped on my knees again and cried as I said mum dad hang in there wait a little while and I promise I will get y'all back.
After what felt like forever I was barely standing, my legs felt like sticks that would break any second. I arrived at a village that gave eerie strange vibes. The village seemed empty as if it was hunted. At the back of the village there was a wooden wall with a hand symbol on it. So I touched the wall with my hand and it opened up like a curtain revealing a forest with gray tree trunks and life'less looking leaves. Of course there was no apple tree because to actually get there you'd need to survive the forest and it's challenges.
