Hi everyone,
I really need some honest advice. I completed my BBA with 7.14 CGPA, but to be honest I did not learn much during college. I also faced some academic and personal challenges during my college years, which affected my consistency and created a gap.
After graduation, I stayed at home for around 2 years and did not develop any strong skills or take any courses.
Now I have come to Delhi hoping to find a job, but it has already been around 20 days and I have not given a single interview. The main reason is my lack of confidence and poor communication skills. My English is very weak, and I am not even able to give a proper introduction.
Whenever I see job descriptions, they mention “good communication skills,” and I feel like I don’t qualify. Because of this, I am avoiding interviews completely. I feel stuck and lost.
I am also starting to feel like a burden where I am staying, which is making things mentally harder.
I am ready to work hard and improve, but I honestly don’t know where to start.
My questions:
What kind of jobs should I realistically apply for right now?
Should I first focus on improving English or start applying immediately?
What skills can I learn in 1–2 months that can help me get a job?
Is it okay to start with BPO or should I avoid it?
I am open to any honest advice, even if it is harsh. I just want to get out of this situation and start earning and improving myself.
Thank you for reading.
