Experience with Daniel Lafuente Projects & Flowers in Barcelona, Spain – wedding florals not delivered as agreed
My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon dealing with an extremely upsetting experience involving Daniel Lafuente Projects & Flowers in Barcelona, Spain.
We hired and fully paid the company based on a final proposal and presentation that included white rose floral arrangements and crème-coloured fabric draping for our wedding welcome party dinner.
When we arrived at the event, none of the flowers or draping were there. The setup mainly consisted of small candle clusters instead.
After raising the issue privately, Daniel later admitted to us in writing that the decision to remove the florals from the final design had internally been made months earlier due to table space considerations — but we were never informed, the proposal was never updated, and we still received the same final proposal and paid in full just days before the wedding.
We’ve spent days trying to resolve this privately and amicably with Daniel Lafuente Projects & Flowers, but no meaningful resolution has been reached so far.
Has anyone experienced something similar with wedding vendors before, and what would you do in this situation?
