Hi all, MD/PhD reapplicant here! My MCAT (513) expired this year because I took it in 2022, didnt apply in 2023 due to personal things, applied MD only 2024 (1 WL), and then just reapplied this past cycle to MD/PhD only with 1 R and 1 WL ( :( ). Based on feedback from schools (spoke with directors directly), it was a result of a GPA gap that I couldnt justify properly during my interview. I know I can do it but Im facing the issue of having to retake my MCAT to be viable for these programs. Thoughts on timeline for retake to ensure I am able to apply properly this year and what score should I aim for?

Edit: GPA of about 3.4, first year was the worst and great upward trend
