- Reserved a rental car through Expedia before trip

- Called rental car agency to confirm car day before pickup

- Rental car agency does not have the reservation

- Live chat with Expedia on plane ride in, because now cars are way more expensive since it's the day before pickup

- Expedia confirms they can't honor the reservation

- Expedia of course will do nothing to make it right, and now cars are way more expensive

- Expedia website doesn't allow me to cancel the reservation since it's so close, so I still get charged for this rental

- Dispute with credit card company, Expedia fights the dispute saying they provided the service

So right now I'm stuck paying for the original reservation that Expedia did not honor, and the much more expensive rental car I had to scramble and find at the last minute, adding a lot of stress to my vacation.

How is Expedia in existence when they scam so many people?

Just wanted to vent and warn others, do not use Expedia.
