Hi everyone! I applied for OPT on April 25, 2026, and completed biometrics on May 22. My job was supposed to start last week, and my employer has already pushed my start date, but I’m not sure how much longer they’re willing to wait.

I’m considering Premium Processing, but after waiting almost 4 months, I’m worried my regular decision may already be close.

Has anyone with a similar timeline been approved recently? Or switched to premium after waiting this long? How quickly did you get a decision?
