Hi my current TN is valid till May 2027 with my current employer. I am in the process of applying for new jobs and have the opportunity to apply for new TN for my possible new employer via their immigration team under USCIS premium processing. Should I renew my passport now? Or wait till the premium processing is complete?

How does it work if I get USCIS approval now on my current passport and need a new passport in the next year?

New to USCIS TN process as my previous TN has been via land border application.
